, When we were in Iran, we also visited Semnan which is right next to Tehran. They greeted us by saying Salâm which means hello, then we went to face the hot climate of Semnan. Seman is dry and temperate due to its proximity to the desert. The city is hot in summer and cold in winter, and most of the rainfall occurs during the cold season. It lies 3,734 feet (1,138 meters) above sea level on a large plain at the southern foot of the Elburz Mountains. As we were viewing the city, we found several large places of worship. Semnan has traditionally been an important center of commerce along the historical silk road.

Semnan is one of the largest provinces in the north of the country. As we were in Semnan it was very crowded, and there were many tourists and there was unique climate diversity. Semnan had created special geographical conditions in its own province. The language of Semnan is the most indigenous language of this province, is known as an inflexible language so that it accepts foreign words with difficulty. Every literate person in Semnan knows how to communicate in the Persian language. As we were going around the city, we learned that the people of Semnan are almost all entirely Shi’a Muslim. The Shi’a Islamic faith dominates the culture, norms, traditions, and beliefs of the city, and continues to dictate the style of life in the city.
